Moving to Peracetic Acid (PAA) Disinfection

Pelton Environmental has helped more than 35 facilities in Kentucky and Ohio move to peracetic acid (PAA) disinfection.  These facilities range from 5,000 GPD to more than 50 MGD.  We offer a full range of services to implement PeraCide 15% peracetic acid disinfection systems at wastewater treatment plants.  These services include:

  • Temporary Pilot Systems – Pelton Environmental can supply pilot systems to allow municipalities & consulting engineers to determine if peracetic acid is a good solution for their facility. These pilots allow facilities to determine their long-term operational & maintenance costs while ensuring they will remain in compliance.
  • Metering Pump Systems – Pelton Environmental can supply standard or fully customized metering pump systems for permanent installation. These systems can be installed indoors or outdoors.
  • Storage Systems – Pelton Environmental offers bulk PAA storage systems.
  • Chemical Supply Agreements – Pelton Environmental can supply long term agreements with our 15% PeraCide solution. We can supply PeraCide in 55 gallon drums, 300 gallon totes, or by bulk delivery.
  • Maintenance Contracts – Pelton Environmental and our partners at Ohio Valley Service Solutions can provide monthly maintenance services for PAA systems.
  • Training and Safety - Pelton Environmental can provide training and safety guidelines to ensure the safe, reliable, operation of these peracetic acid systems.
  • Turnkey installation – Pelton Environmental can provided complete turnkey installation of a peracetic acid systems.
